AN ANALYSIS OF THE COHESION OF THE STUDENTS’ DESCRIPTIVE TEXT WRITING IN SMP NEGERI 01 TAYU IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022

This final project studied the analysis of cohesion found on students’ descriptive test writing in SMP N 01 Tayu. The design research was qualitative research. objectives study were (1) To find out type competence by eight grade Tayu producing text, (2) show dominant at their text Tayu, (3) to describe text. object 1 instruments data from students discussions prior chapters are be summarized achieve purpose study. first one is grammatical device, and second lexical devices. device reference, substitution, ellipsis, conjunction. Meanwhile, devices reiteration collocation. Then 5 types There repetition, synonymy, hyponymy. Meronymy, antonymy. And then, last part
